What is included in a simple French drain system?

- Simple plywood temporary roads
- Sod cut, saved and reinstalled at completion of project
- Excavation of soil 16” Wide x 16” deep x length of drain system
- All soil excavated hauled and disposed of
- Tested filter fabric lining bottom, sides, and top of trench
- 4” PVC perforated pipe at the bottom of the trench
- Trench backfilled with clear drain rock
- French drain system connected to outlet source: City storm, ditch, etc.
A More Complicated French Drain System 150’ Can Cost Between $10,000 - $20,000 +
