Restoring Function to Wash Pad Area

This welding company in Mission B.C. had a leaking water hydrant that needed to be replaced. Upon excavating and replacing the hydrant, poor soil was discovered. The clay soil was responsible for several failed asphalt installs that the company had previously tried to get done. We excavated a much larger area and Hwy spec filter fabric and geogrid was installed, along with a custom drainage sump with pump. The area was then properly compacted, and prepped for asphalt.

This area serves as a wash pad for farm equipment and is now built to handle an excessive amount of water.
